I love to upcycle and reuse, and this extends to my shop as well! I make bags from thrifted and upcycled materials. So remember, your bag started out life as a leather jacket or sometimes a couch! Some imperfections are normal and character building! And oh the vintage I find that I don't want to cut up! Some of it ends up here cause I just can't keep it all ;)

Unique upcycled bags and vintage

Alot of my time is spent cutting up jackets in my large studio (aka the floor) and trying to arrange them a kickass bag!

We have enough stuff, let's reuse/remake/recycle what we have!

I started to make bags cause, hey, I love bags ;) Honestly, it’s hard for me to remember why but I started with a regular sewing machine - that poor machine, it was no match for leather - and eventually I learned about walking feet (hallelujah!) and industrial machines.
So the bags have improved and I’m always learning and getting better! I love, love, love reusing materials. Vintage leather is the bomb - you can’t beat it and I love giving discarded and unused items a second life. Waste is a HUGE issue in our society and I’m trying to curb it a little, and make beautiful, unique items at the same time.
