I was blessed with parents who loved exotic travel and adventure.
My passport was full by the 70's and my dream was to find sustainable and creative work in the arts somewhere rich with culture, beauty and possibility. Suitably armed with a degree in Cultural Anthropology from the University of Colorado in Boulder and a youthful aching need to find and express myself I set out to change the world. Such ideals and passionate curiosity along with Joseph Campbell's guidance to follow my bless I found work in India and Japan and other islands for 15+ years as a textile & clothing designer in the employ of other dreamers and entrepreneurs of my time. Those were the days my friend; I learned from the best how to live outside my comfort zone and thrive as a underpaid designer where travel was the bonus. A child of the Hippie Renaissance.
I branched out on my own when the realization that my commitment to an ethical and loving business model was not shared and I needed to create my own paradigm.
