🌸 Welcome to KinuMade! 🌸 The Japanese word Kinu translates to Silk, a material commonly used to make kimonos. All of my small-batch accessories are handmade in the USA using vintage silk, wool and cotton kimonos. I also offer accessories made from imported Japanese cottons, such as headbands, bookmarks and hair ties.

🌸 My products are made to order, so processing time is generally 2 to 7 business days. After your package is shipped, it should arrive in 2 to 5 business days (within the US) depending on your location. International orders can take roughly 1 to 3 weeks to arrive, depending on your location.

🌸 KINUMADE PRODUCTS: Please be aware that most of my accessories are made from vintage silk fabrics and may have minor imperfections such as light spots. My accessories are for those who can appreciate the nature of vintage materials.

🌸 KIMONO SILK: Not all kimono silks are soft and silky. Some are soft and others are more textured like raw silk.

🌸 CUSTOM ORDERS: I am unable to accept custom orders at this time. However, if you would like to change the fabric of an already existing style, that is doable as long as I have the material in stock. Suggestions for new products and feedback on already existing products are always welcome.

🌸 PACKAGING: For customers who prefer less plastic packaging, please leave me a message at checkout and I will wrap all products in tissue paper. I still use plastic bubble mailers to ship.

🌸 GIFT PACKAGING: Multiple orders of scrunchies are placed in one poly bag. If your order is a gift and you would like them packaged individually, please leave me a note at checkout.
