Can I customize the carvings?
Absolutely! Most of our pieces can be personalized with initials, names, dates, or a message. Just include your details in the personalization box at checkout.
Will I receive a proof before you make it?
We don’t send proofs by default to keep turnaround times fast, but we’re happy to provide one upon request! Just leave a note at checkout if you'd like to review it before we carve.
What type of wood do you use?
Most of our signs are made from high-quality Baltic birch, known for its smooth finish and durability. We also offer select designs in beautiful walnut wood or other hardwoods, depending on the look and feel of the piece. Each item description will note the wood used, and we’re happy to answer any questions if you’d like a custom option.
How long does it take to ship my order?
Most orders ship within 3–5 business days. During busy seasons (like holidays or anniversary months), it may take slightly longer. If you’re on a deadline, feel free to message us—we’ll do our best to accommodate!
How are your pieces made? Are they hand-carved?
Every piece begins with our original artwork, which we carefully design and program in our studio. We hand-paint and finish the wood surface before carving to achieve rich contrast and texture. Then, we use a CNC to v-carve the design with precision. After carving, we hand-sand, smooth, and detail each piece by hand to ensure a clean, finished result. While not hand-carved with chisels, every sign is made with care, craftsmanship, and hands-on attention from start to finish.
Are the products shown in your photos real?
Absolutely! Every Kovo Studio piece is our original artwork, physically carved and handcrafted in our Texas workshop.
Our photos feature our actual wood art. In some secondary lifestyle images, we use stock or AI-imagined backgrounds to help you envision how a piece might look in different homes and spaces.
The setting may be imagined, but the artwork is entirely real. Designed, carved, and finished by human hands.
