I'm a LOVER not a fighter...
LOVER jewelry is handmade in Bend, Oregon by Catrina Gregory, and is cast in solid brass from melted bullet shells.

As a child, my favorite place in the world was my grandfather’s workshop. A skilled craftsman, and WWII veteran, he often made clever things from discarded materials. The salt-and-pepper shakers he crafted from large-caliber WWII bullet shells made a big impression on me as a kid – they perfectly captured the humor and whimsy of the gentle man I called “Brampa.”
Early in 2012, by chance, a friend gave me a box of spent bullet shells. The coloring and weathered patina of the discarded brass immediately captivated me – and reminded me of Brampa’s shakers. And I knew I'd found the perfect material for my new jewelry line. I also really liked the symbolic act of transforming bullets into tokens of peace and beauty. And in the end, I named the line after what my grandfather was to everyone he met, and what I most want to be in life: One who loves… a LOVER.
