I've always known I wanted to be an artist and I love what I do. And I'm lucky to have been raised in the the Sierra Nevada foothills near the North Fork of the American River. I can look out my studio window and see deer, fox, hawks, lizards and the occasional bear. I was also fortunate to attend Chico State and earn my B.S. in Visual Communication.

It's a privilege to be able to give back and help the non-profit PARC (Protect American River Canyons) by donating my illustrations to help them promote keeping our local wild spaces wild. Even though they have discontinued the annual Confluence Festival in Auburn, I hope to have my illustrations continue to fund this awesome group.

I've been creating art and design for over 25+ years. In 1996, I started my own business, Mystic Design Inc. Our design studio's other specialities include logos, publications, educational materials, packaging, books, screen-printing design, and unusual, one-of-a-kind projects.
