Too many years ago to mention. I would follow my mom to flea markets and auctions. While most people where drawn to furniture, jewelry or collectibles I loved the vintage linens. For many years I would travel to England, France or Germany looking for vintage linens and bring them back to sell at antique and vintage shows. Eventually, I had an entire room of damaged linens and textiles I just couldn’t part with. I so appreciated all of the hand work that went into them. For the last 15-20 years I have been making new heirlooms from damaged vintage linen treasures. I have been fortunate to have traveled all over the country selling my creations at craft shows, vintage and antique shows. Thousands of people have squeezed one of my lavender sachets to help them sleep, put one of my handmade dresses or jackets on a beloved grand child, worn one of my adult pieces to a wedding or on a cruise or decorated a room with one of my chenille animals. Etsy is a new adventure for me. I am so grateful to have had the good luck to meet so many of my customers in person and look forward to creating new online relationships here on Etsy.
