Frequently asked questions
How do I find and download my digital files?
Your files are instantly available after your payment is processed. To access your digital files from your account:
1. Sign into Etsy.com (Please note, the Etsy app on your mobile or tablet device does not allow download functionality - Please use a Web browser) and go to 'Your account'
2. Go to 'Purchases'
3. Next to the order, select 'Download Files'
If payment is still processing, the 'Download Files' button will be greyed out.
It is always recommended to download your files to save on your device immediately after purchase.
I can't find my download notification email/ Etsy receipt
First, check your spam or junk inbox. If you use Gmail, also check your Social and Promotions tabs. If it’s not there, adding transaction@etsy.com to your address book or safe list can help you locate these emails in the future.
I purchased a digital item, but don't have an Etsy account
If you purchased an instant digital download as a guest, you'll find a link to download your files in the receipt email that was sent to you after purchase.
If you don't see the emailed receipt from Etsy, check your spam or junk inbox. If you use Gmail, also check your Social and Promotions tabs. If it’s not there, adding transaction@etsy.com to your address book or safe list can help you locate these emails in the future.
I'm having trouble downloading my digital files
If nothing happens when you click the download links, it’s possible that there is an issue with your web browser. Please disable any non-standard add-ons like ad blockers or toolbars that you’ve installed and try again.
If your computer states that the file has been corrupted, delete the file and try downloading it again. If you still can't open the file, please contact us so we can help.
If you have a firewall set up through Adobe, sometimes, clicking on the PDF link will not work. Please disable the firewall, or reach out to us.
How and where can I print my digital art?
You can print from home, locally, or using websites such as Snapfish, Photobox, Shutterfly and Canvaschamp, just to name a few. Perform an internet search for 'online print stores' and shop around for the best price.
What paper should I use to print my digital files?
There are many great paper options for printing your art. Lustre, gloss or matte to name a few. We personally love the look of heavyweight, matte photo paper but lustre and glossy also give a great result. Keep in mind that lustre and gloss paper will show some glare at various angles but work well for photographic prints.
