My Earth Canvas
Though I was never a outdoorsy kid, I've always been concerned for our planet, from the days I taped my bedroom lights witches in the OFF position, to save energy. I went on to study ecology, geology and law, ever searching for the path to help me navigate the mounting eco-crises. I’ve worked as a geologist, environmental law attorney and alternative energy project consultant.
But it was motherhood that drove me to exploring new ways of honoring our Earth—in the desperate hope for a healthy planet for my children and someday grandchildren.
I write, speak and create to share my experiences on the razor’s edge between Earth-mindfulness and eco-madness, not because I've got it all figured out, but in solidarity with anyone else who’s fumbling along the path of more conscientious living.
I find solace in Nature, and I aim to inspire new appreciation for our one Earth with my writings and creations. I offer “My Earth Canvas” art playshops, inviting people to discover their own newfound appreciation for the gifts of Nature. How does Nature speak to you?
