My Story:
As a stay at home new mother of an infant, also in a new city every year, with a frequently traveling husband, I couldn’t always find the time (or energy) to shop around enough to find exactly what I wanted my sweet bundle of joy to wear, so…. I dusted off my sewing machine that hadn’t been touched in 10 years, rolled up my sleeves, and found just enough energy to begin creating things for my son with my very first sewing machine that was a college gift from my mom (…that machine sure didn’t get much use in my college years….Anyway-)

Soon to find out that life would move forward with just my very young son and myself, we made the best decision to move closer to a more familiar place that we now call home, and I started creating to occupy my evenings while he was sleeping.

Nights turned into days, days into nights…and I was determined to learn that new machine-frustration, tears, and all! My son, only 2 at the time, started requesting types of shirts that he wanted. From cars to airplanes to baseballs, to jerseys with his name and numbers on it- you name it. And that was enough motivation to create it.

They turned out so precious that I found myself taking more and more pictures, then couldn’t help myself and started running numbers on costs and my labor time, then back to sewing, and repeating the process-- putting both the accounting and marketing parts of my degree to work.

Although I didn’t plan or want to be a working mother while my son was still so young, God chose to make it a part of my plan, and I couldn’t be happier that he did.

I never imagined that I would be where I am today and I am so very thankful for the support along the way from amazing friends, family, and customers.

My Etsy shop enters ‘vacation mode on’ from time to time but that doesn’t mean I’m not working behind the scenes to complete orders and will re-open when I can handle the demand.
