This mitten pattern is very good and easy to modify or customize if desired. I find the width a little small for men's mittens, but it's easy enough to size up, decrease the seam allowance, or draw parallel lines to scale the pattern. I'd also increase the length at the cuff slightly. The thumb design is EXCELLENT and saved me the trouble of fiddling with my own design from scratch, or deconstructing an old pair of mittens.
