Hey friends!
I’m writing to you from the offices of Margie and Rose, a loft in the jewelry district in Manhattan where I’m finishing the takeout dinner I ordered and trying to get home at a decent hour.
Actually, the headquarters of Margie and Rose are a little more humble but just as exciting, today, I’m sitting on my couch, watching the Christmas Tree lights change colors, and listing to Entertainment Tonight. That’s what I LOVE about being an Etsypreneur I can work from absolutely anywhere!
If you send me a message, I might respond from Starbucks, as I’m running errands or as I’m watching late night TV. If I’m traveling, I can bring some of my tools with me, you might get your order shipped from the road.
I’ve always loved jewelry, but I’d say five or six years ago, being able to wear or carry with me a word or phrase became more important to me. Sometimes it was a common word, phrase, or verse. Other times it was something unique to me. I was an experienced Etsy addict and would find a style I liked and would add it to my collection.
Earlier this year I decided I wanted to actually learn to hand stamp jewelry myself and I took a class. It was a disaster. The teacher brought had the wrong tools, inferior materials, and while I left with a necklace I made, I was able to bend the pendant in my bare hands. What did I do? As soon as I got in my car, I pulled up Etsy and ordered a replacement of the one I just tried to make.
I knew there was a better way and that’s how Margie and Rose was born. I refused to work with low quality materials, you won’t be able to bend the pendants I hand stamp for you! The stamps and tools that I use are professional grade which ensures that the impressions in the jewelry are deep and visible and if you have any concerns regarding a piece of jewelry that you receive, just contact me within 3 business days of delivery and we will work out a solution.
Thank you for visiting Margie and Rose and feel free to ask me any questions you have or request a custom order if you don’t see something you are looking for.
