✨ Business Update - May 2026 ✨

Over the past few years, I’ve done my best to absorb rising material costs while continuing to create handmade sterling silver jewellery at an affordable price. However, with ongoing increases in silver prices, packaging, printing and postage, I now need to make some adjustments to keep my small business sustainable for the future.

Most collections will see price increases over the next few weeks and some will be significant, but to help ease this transition, I’m running a sale until the end of the month across all lines.

Thoughtfully crafted sterling silver jewellery, made in North Somerset, England, sold both through my Etsy shop and my direct website.

In 2018 whilst on maternity leave, I set up May & Mabel in my home village near Bristol.

Each piece is thoughtfully made to mark life’s meaningful moments with silver jewellery gifts - from milestone birthdays and anniversaries to retirement and tokens of love for mums, sisters, daughters and grandmothers.

May & Mabel is named in honour of my own Cornish grandmothers and the brand carries a story at its heart. With this personal connection at its core, my aspiration is to create jewellery that holds meaning and pieces that represent a journey, a milestone, or a loved one, and that become cherished keepsakes for the wearer.

Sustainability and intention are at the centre of my work - from the majority recycled silver I use, to the thoughtful packaging and small-batch process.
