Handmade outdoor gear for adventurous cats and dogs — designed in the Swiss Alps
MeggyTrails was born from countless hikes through mountains, forests, snow and rain together with my furry adventure team. What started as a search for truly functional outdoor gear for my own pets slowly became a small handmade Swiss brand trusted by thousands of customers around the world.
As a passionate hiker and nature lover, I design and create comfortable, secure and functional outdoor gear specially made for cats and dogs — because our four-legged companions deserve equipment that is not only cute, but also practical, safe and comfortable in real outdoor conditions.
The inspiration behind MeggyTrails:
Meggy — my soul dog and the most experienced hiking partner, who inspired the beginning of this journey. She loved adventures, but hated rain and got cold very quickly with age. Meggy is now over the rainbow bridge, but her spirit still lives in every product I create.
Kysa — my adventurous black cat, known by many of my followers. She joins us on hikes and outdoor trips in every season and inspired me to create cat gear with truly cat-specific comfort and fit.
Shiraz — the youngest and wildest team member, always full of energy and often disappearing in the snow because of her white fur.
Finding truly functional clothing and secure adventure gear for cats was always surprisingly difficult. Most products were either made only for looks or simply adapted from dog designs without considering feline anatomy and movement.
That is why I started creating my own designs — using high quality fabrics and durable hardware suitable for real outdoor adventures. Many products are made with premium softshell and fleece fabrics which help protect from wind, rain, snow and cold while remaining lightweight and comfortable.
Today MeggyTrails focuses especially on adventure cat gear:
secure and comfortable cat harnesses,
adventure leashes,
warm jackets and hoodies for cats,
and selected outdoor wear for dogs.
Every item is handmade in Switzerland in small quantities with great attention to comfort, functionality and details. My goal is simple: to help cats and dogs safely enjoy adventures together with their humans in every season.
