Having saved special articles of clothing for 18 years, I was nervous and excited to send them off to be turned into a blanket and could not be more pleased with the result! the quality is absolutely beautiful and my daughters absolutely loved their special blankets. Thank you thank you thank you!

The fabric is lightweight and soft making it perfect for summer. I got the newborn size and it fit a little large on my 6 lb newborn, mostly the hat. Used this as her coming home outfit and everyone was obsessed!!

What a sweet baby angel! Congratulations to you and your new addition to the world. Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review.

Throwback to my military days! A lifetime ago, but the discipline and dedication I learned still shape my work today.
Sharing life's sweetest moments with my little one! 💕

I'm just a girl, sitting in front of a sewing machine, asking it to make magic.

Hi! I'm Alex. Owner, creator, secretary, accountant, barista, child/model wrangler, and magician of MiniMaeKids.

Here, you will find a semi-long-winded bio about me and how this adorable boutique came to be. Maybe this story is boring; perhaps it's ridiculous or intriguing and will keep you on the edge of your seat. Keep reading to find out...

It all started with a Cricut machine, making me the coolest mom on the block with cute decals on my kiddo's shirts. But, being an over-achiever, I wanted more! After fixing my little one’s favorite stuffy, I dove into sewing. When COVID hit, I made cotton masks for a nurse friend in need. After that, I was crafting hats, memory keepsake blankets, and dresses, like a modern-day Coco Chanel (if she was a stay-at-home mom from Ohio).

Now, MiniMaeKids is alive and thriving. I love creating soft and cozy fashion for little ones everywhere. Use code: WHYDIDIREADTHAT for 10% off your purchase as a thank you for reading my story!

Enjoy shopping!
Alex 😊
