Hi all I'm Chris McNamara PDGA #147320! I booted up this operation in mid 2020 as a fun way to creatively vent some stress and give back to the community and sport I love so much! This project is NFP and a place for positivity and fun!

Frequently asked questions

Do you take custom commissions?

Yes I do! All custom dyes save for stencil dyes are 15$ per disc, stencil dye prices vary by cost of material and the time-intensive nature of the design. 15$ does not include the price of shipping, I cover this expense myself. If you are interested in getting a custom dye job please reach out via social media and the other communication methods listed on that account!

Are the images in your product listing edited?

Yes most if not all of them are. While this might seem deceptive on the surface I do this with good reason. I am a professional grade photographer and videographer of nearly a decade and I understand colors and lighting better than the average Joe. My intention with editing photos is not to mislead customers, but to provide an accurate image of what each disc I dye will look like in varying lighting scenarios and let my clients know that colors may appear one way on a rainy day and another in shade and yet another still in bright sun. Ask anyone I have dyed for and they will tell you all images are very accurate to the actual appearance of the discs and they usually look better in person ;)!

Can I return a disc if it doesn't turn out the way I want?

I run this gig to give people something fun and unique to throw and to grow the sport I love. Of course, if you end up with a disc that doesn't look the way you wanted it to on a commission or a purchase you can return it. I will ask that you cover shipping for that exchange if so as this enterprise usually bleed money for me and I want to be able to continue sustaining the hobby I love.

Will you replace a disc if a dye doesn't turn out the way I want?

Sadly, I cannot offer this service. If a dye does not cooperate and ends in a dud result on a commission or custom dye, I will return it free of charge save for shipping (if need be I am willing to split this at times) but I will not seek out a fresh disc of the same make and model to replace the initial disc. The finance behind this is too hefty of a hit for me and it is also open to heavy abuse if individuals are commissioning collectible discs.

Why are your discs so expensive if this is an not-for-profit-effort?

I want to let anyone know that I hate charging people for discs. If I could I would genuinely (and have in many cases) give away the discs I dye. My ambition with all this is not to make a bunch of money or have a side business that supports my day job. My goal is an always has been to support the growth of disc golf and to find a unique and impactful way to give back to the sport and community. With that being said this is an expensive hobby between the cost of materials, discs and time it takes me to do, I have to charge something to be able to sustain this operation. Please trust that the cost of every disc has been carefully calculated given the cost of materials and the base cost of the disc so that I can break even on this venture
