This set is beautiful like a work of art ! Despite the war and all the logistical problems it may produce, the set perfectly arrived in just 3 weeks ! And this was almost due to strikes in France. I highly recommend this shop for those who like old sets replicas and specially the beautiful black and red Killarney chess set masterpiece that perfectly fits with my board ! Top quality. I like that the set is only lightly weighted, which makes it a pleasure to play with (unlike some of the ridiculously heavy Indian-made sets).

This is the third chess set I've bought from Oldset...never a disappointment. This latest purchase is a reproduction of an 18th Century Danish set and it's incredibly well done. Andrew messaged with me several times to make sure that the fine details were exactly as I wanted, such as even the gloss of the finish. Everything is perfect. The pieces are so refined, and the carving of the knights is particularly wonderful. A unique set from an amazing craftsman.
