Terms and Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

Use of our PrettySerendipityCo shop and the sale of all goods facilitated through Etsy are subject to the terms and conditions set out below. Accessing our shop and/or placing an order implies that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. If you do not agree to be bound by these terms and conditions then please refrain from making a purchase.

2. Orders

Each order you place shall be deemed to be an offer by you to purchase the goods specified within it subject to our specified terms and conditions. All orders are subject to acceptance. No order shall be deemed to be accepted until we issue you an email acknowledging the despatch of your goods. Ownership of the goods will then pass to you on despatch.

We reserve the right to decline an order in the following circumstances:

- Upon review of your order a pricing or product description error is found.

- We are unable to obtain authorisation for your payment.

You fail to comply with any eligibility criteria set out in our terms and conditions.

If for any reason, your order cannot be accepted we will notify you at the earliest opportunity by telephone or email.

3. Cancellations

Please note that under the Consumer Contracts Regulations Act of 2014 you cannot cancel personalised or bespoke items once the manufacturing process has started to make those goods unique to you.

If you wish to cancel your order, you must contact us via Etsy messages before a 3 hour cooling-off period expires.

4. Returns

Do you accept returns or exchanges?

Non-personalised jewellery can be returned within 30 days of receipt. Our personalised jewellery is made to order and as such it is non-returnable. However, if we are at fault and a spelling mistake has been made on your order we will of course be more than happy to offer you a full refund or product exchange. Please be aware that we cannot accept returns unless you have contacted us first, so if you think we've made a mistake on your order please email us a photograph and we'll take it from there.

We want you to love your jewellery, so if you are unhappy in any way please get in touch and we'll see what we can do to resolve any issues you may have.

Damaged or faulty goods

We take great care to ensure that you receive your goods in perfect condition. However, if your goods are found to be damaged or faulty, please contact us stating your order number, a description of the fault and whether you'd like a full refund or a product exchange. We will then email you back with full instructions of how you can return your goods to us, free of charge.

Returns/Cancellation Form

UK law now requires that we provide you with a "form" in order for you to return/cancel your order. Please don’t feel obliged to print and use this form, it is not necessary for you to do so, the form only exists to make sure that we are compliant with the current laws. Contacting us by the Etsy messaging system or by e-mail is much faster and will prevent any delays when it comes to processing your return/cancellation:

5. Prices

All prices shown are inclusive of VAT at the current rate.

6. Product Descriptions

While every effort is made to ensure the product descriptions, information and prices quoted on our shop are portrayed accurately, slight variations may occur from time to time.

For example, if a products price is being updated on our system and an order is placed before the update has been completed, a slight miss-match may occur between the quoted price and the actual price. If such an event arises, we reserve the right to decline the order in accordance with our order acceptance policy.

Please note that all product measurements are approximate guides and while every effort is made to ensure the product images displayed on our site are as similar as possible to the actual product, an exact match cannot always be guaranteed due to variations in an individual users screen calibration and the allowable accuracy of current photographic and publishing processes.

7. Delivery Information and Costs

While every effort is made to deliver your goods within the time periods specified, we do not accept liability for any loss caused to you by failure to deliver within the specified timescales.

8. Personalised Goods

When filling in the required fields on goods that are personalised, please double check your spelling as your order will be processed exactly as you have typed and mistakes cannot be rectified once your goods have entered the manufacturing phase.

9. Customs and Import Taxes on International Orders

Please be aware that international customers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. We cannot be held responsible for any delays your parcel may experience while going through customs.
