The Bright side of Covid
When Covid hit the world in 2020, I was living in Whistler, Canada after arriving 5 months earlier. The town shut down and I lost my jobs, so I started walking my neighbours dogs who were kind enough to find a way to keep me employed.
Soon my black lab pack of Fin, Stella and Pax were the only things getting me out of bed and keeping me sane. We would walk for hours exploring the Lost Lake Trails which were new to me.
Those trails had very few garbage bins.. rightly so (the best places to explore don't). But I wasn't happy about carrying 3 bigs bags of poop for hours. So I chopped up an old inflatable and made myself a little pouch to carry the waste in... surprisingly it kept the smell contained really well. It made our walks 10x better, and I wondered if other dog owners and walkers would appreciate the freedom of carrying your own smell containing bin with you too. So PupPouch was born!
It's now a project I (Emma) run from Canada, and my parents (who very kindly volunteered to help me early on) also ship out Orders from the UK. Its a small operation I'm still running from my home, so thank you for shopping this small family business!
The very best part about PupPouch...? It lead me to my soul dog! I was lucky enough to adopt one of my Lab Pack - Pax! And shes a great big sister to Fern who's a menace!
