The idiom "Rare Bird" is used as a compliment and to describe an exceptional individual. "Eclectic" is deriving ideas and style from a broad and diverse range of sources.
The shop's name is to express the richness and range of my artistic creations. - Handmade jewelry crafted from precious, semi-precious stones, beads, pearls, using sterling silver and gold filled findings. Most pieces are one of a kind. - Greeting cards from original hand drawn art, printed on-demand in-house on an inkjet printer and carefully hand packaged. - Nature inspired handicrafts. - Upcycled and creative reuse items.
Always drawn to nature since childhood, I started nature drawing in 2018 after retirement. I'm now a Certified Nature Journaling Educator--organize and facilitate nature journaling events (ShadowHillsNJC.blogspot.com). I participate in citizen science using iNaturalist (ID: terri_shadowhillsnjc). As a UC ANR Certified California Naturalist, volunteer to share my love of nature. And a Cookie Artist too (instagram @BabaBakesArt).
I love to use different materials when making handicrafts and in my art.
