It all started with a book.
When my first children's book came out, I wanted a way to create jewelry to proudly display the book cover for my first signing. I created my first domed resin necklace. Then I made one for my critique partner when her first book was published. Next, I started gifting them to my author friends when they had a book debut. Orders from friends started coming in followed by orders from friends of friends. I was hooked!
With seventeen published books and counting, I enjoy wearing my fun literary designs to school visits and reading conferences. As a thank you to the librarians and teachers who booked me for visits I began creating bouquets of flowers from book pages. So, I decided to open an Etsy shop.
I've spent many years mentoring other writers as a regional advisor for the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators, so I added DIY how-to downloadables on writing to help others on their journey.
