Our shop is more than just a business—it’s a family story filled with passion, creativity, and a deep love for handmade craftsmanship. It all started with my mom, who has been sewing for over 30 years. Her journey began when she lovingly stitched clothes for me and my sister, making us the most stylish girls in school! Over the years, her talent blossomed, and she created costumes for children’s theater and dance studios. Even today, the theater’s art director treasures her work, despite my mom having been an independent artisan for the past two decades.
For many years, she ran a home studio where clients would visit, and she would take their measurements in person to create custom-fitted garments. She specialized in elegant office wear and outerwear, always ensuring each piece was tailored to perfection. She loved the face-to-face interaction and the joy of seeing her clients wear clothing made just for them.
A few years ago, my mom fell in love with patchwork and Japanese sashiko stitching, a craft that blends beauty, tradition, and intricate handwork. Since these designs don’t always require exact measurements, I saw an opportunity to bring her art to a wider audience. That’s when we decided to open our Etsy shop—to share our handmade creations with people around the world!
Now, we offer both ready-to-ship items that can be sent out the same day you place an order, as well as custom-made pieces tailored to your measurements and preferences. Custom orders typically take 1 to 2 weeks to complete, depending on the complexity of the design.
