Architectural Depth, Handcrafted in Layered Wood
STEREOWOOD began with a fascination for architectural models—the way solid structures interact with open space, light, and shadow.
While studying at university, I began wondering whether that sense of architectural depth could be transformed into wall art: something sculptural and intricate, yet warm enough to become part of an everyday living space.
That idea led to my first experiments with layered wood. By cutting, stacking, shifting, and assembling multiple sheets, a flat drawing gradually became a dimensional composition. Each layer changes the way light moves across the artwork, creating shadows and details that reveal themselves from different angles.
Today, every STEREOWOOD piece begins in our studio with an original design and a carefully planned layer structure. The individual layers are precision laser-cut, assembled and finished by hand, inspected, and securely packed for international delivery.
Our designs draw inspiration from nature, geometry, architectural ornament, and Eastern symbolism. From trees of life and koi fish to mandalas and celestial patterns, each piece is created to bring depth, meaning, and visual presence to a space.
What began as a small six-layer experiment has grown into a collection of statement wall art for homes, offices, meditation spaces, and meaningful gifts. We also offer selected size and color customization, allowing each artwork to feel more at home in its final setting.
