Some of my earliest memories are centered around a small craft business that my parents had when I was younger. I loved going to the lumber store with them and helping them pick out the perfect boards. I loved watching them pack up the minivan with all of the items that they had made after my siblings and I were in bed for the night. I loved the smells of sawdust and stain that were permanent fixtures in our basement. And I loved the fact that a lot of what you saw in our home growing up had been built by my parents.
Some of that must have rubbed off on me because I have found myself following in their footsteps. What started off as an impulsive decision to build a queen-size bed while pregnant with our first child has grown into a love for woodworking and I am having such a great time building and learning as I go.
And even though they haven't perfected their lumber selection skills yet, our 7, 5, and 2-year olds are as comfortable at Home Depot as any children could be.

What is your return/exchange/cancellation policy?
If there is any issue with your order, please contact me as soon as possible and we can try sort out any issues. It is the responsibility of the customer to cover shipping costs for returns. Returns or refunds are not offered on custom orders. Cancellations are accepted within 24 hours of purchase.
Gift wrapping and packaging
I am happy to include a note for a gift recipient! Because items need to be packed in bubble wrap to minimize damage, most of my items can not be sent gift-wrapped.
Due to the unique sizes of some of my items, and in an attempt to cut down on costs for customers and to be as environmentally friendly as possible, I will use recycled boxes whenever possible. This might mean that your item will be shipped in a box that has been assembled by me to best fit the item rather than in a brand-new box, but all items are packed as securely as possible to minimize the chance of any damage. If you have a preference regarding the condition of the box that your item is shipped in, please send me a message and we can work out a solution!
Can you alter an existing listing?
Sure! If it is a small change you need (to change the color, for example) there is no extra cost. If there are any changes to the design that will affect the size of the item, the cost might increase. Contact me with your ideas and I'll be happy to give you a free, no obligation quote!
