It Started with Pearls
I never set out to make wedding jewelry exclusively, it just kinda happened that way. My very favorite part of making jewelry is going shopping for antique jewelry pieces, bringing it home, and making it into something new.
I started making jewelry, as a hobby, In 2006. At the time I also had a full time day job working for a party supply catalog. In 2009 a friend sent me a link to Etsy and pushed me to set up a shop. I was overwhelmed. Needless to say the first year I might have gotten 1-3 sales a month. My fears were calmed and my creativity spiraled.
Present Day 2016
I still have a full time job and currently taking up residence with my mom as we find our way through life after the sudden passing of my Dad. I make jewelry in my spare time and sometimes my mom helps me string pearls (I still do all the hard stuff, she just helps me string:) I still try to find new an unique antiques to work into my designs, but I have so many orders now, it's gotten a lot harder to get out shopping.
