My name is Maureen. I have been sewing since I was a child and have spent many years altering high-end ladies-wear and many years specialising in Bridal.
When the pandemic struck in 2020 I switched to voluntary work making scrubs for the National Health Service and Care Homes. I ran a “scrub hub” at this time and organised several other volunteers to help me with this work.
This led onto making masks for free to start with for local organisations then decided to add them to my Etsy shop. I further expanded into a range for Bridal using specialist bridal fabrics and added nose wires along the way.
I ran a Bridal boutique for 12 years and during that time became very knowledgable about what brides are looking for and the importance of quality and individuality on their wedding day.
I now work from home in Arbroath, a town on the east coast of Scotland. I love it here, it is so beautiful and peaceful. I have the freedom to design and hand make all my wedding Veils and Garters. I have spent many months sourcing the best materials and trims for both Veils and garters.
I enjoy creating my products from start to finish and making each one special with care and attention to detail.
I hope that every veil and garter I create brings something special to every bride who wears them.
