Bringing Artistry Of Pottery To Everyday Life
From a young age, I adored the art of painting. My early sewing lessons as a child opened the door to a variety of crafts, including beading, macrame, oil painting, and pencil drawing. My passion for art only grew as I did. I mastered unusual knitting patterns, creating lovely sweater tops, and developed skills in embroidery and needlepoint.
One day, I became intrigued by the idea of treating small pieces of china like stained glass. I wondered, why not connect them together like stained glass too? This curiosity led me to explore and develop unique necklaces and brooches.
A few years later, I refined my watercolor skills, leading to exhibits featuring watercolor studies of antique silverware and sculptures, which can be seen on my website, ldesigning.com.
I am a proud student and graduate of Art from CSUN. However, as any artist knows, learning never stops. I applied the cultural and varied techniques of art from around the world into teaching art to children, which was both rewarding and continuously sparked my interest in other mediums.
Currently, I am sculpting in clay, designing vessels, home goods, and figures. This work blends creative form and painting into one fabulous experience. I strive for realism and functionality, finding this approach both lucrative and a pleasure to create.
Please open the photos to show you the details of the work, they reveal the care and attention I give to each piece. And... thank you for visiting my Etsy store. Come back often I add new and innovative work weekly.
