A well travelled lurcher!
Hello my name is Percy. Let me tell you a bit about myself. Im grey and fluffy and by all accounts a little bit naughty.
I live here in Normandy with my mum and dad Brian and Tracy, they mean well but I dont think they have cracked just how life works.
Only the other day I caught them getting up at the crack of dawn, flapping about getting ready to go off to one of those Vide Grenier markets, hunting out more of their so called treasures.
They came back bleary eyed and tired with their swag bags of treasure.
I thought it was about time I had a word with them. I said come in and take a seat on my sofa, here would you like a bone to chew on (thankfully they said no!! more for me) when they had seated themselves I began my lecture.
I told them they needed to relax more, take it easy, eat more treats, do a lot more sniffing, have occasional bursts of energy, dance round the garden now and again, but get a lot more sleep.
I told them to take a look at my sister Evie the greyhound stretched out on the other sofa snoring her head off. That's the way to do it I said, she's definitely cracked it.
Anyway it all seems to have fallen on deaf ears. They tried to explain something about searching out old and curious treasures for their Etsy shop and hunting for that fine old top hat they just couldn't live without and other such waffle but I held a paw up.
Let me stop you there I said. I want you to go out into that garden now, cavort about a bit, have a few good sniffs then come in and rest up, there'll be a bone each for you when you come back.
Do you know they completely ignored me, gave me a hug then went off and made a cup of tea. That's gratitude for you!!
