At Sewing Stroll, I believe sewing is about more than making something beautiful. It's also about understanding how things come together, learning new skills, and finding joy in the process.
I have a Bachelor of Design (BDes) in Fashion Design, over 16 years of sewing experience, and more than a decade of teaching. Over the years, I've learned that everyone starts somewhere, and even the smallest details can make a big difference in how we sew.
When I design a pattern, I don't always choose the easiest construction method. I choose the method I believe works best for the project, then work to make it as clear and approachable as possible. My goal isn't just to help you finish something, but to share techniques and knowledge you can carry into future projects.
Every Sewing Stroll pattern is personally designed, sewn, tested, photographed, and filmed by me. Each includes detailed written instructions and a step-by-step video tutorial, so you can follow along at your own pace and understand not just how to make something, but why it works.
