The journey to ‘Shafollo’ started in September 2020. ‘Shafollo’ is a Bengali word which means Success in English. Starting from the remote areas of Bangladesh, various small skilled entrepreneurs and artisans of the society who keep the mark of their skillful skills make their handicrafts much more attractive. But in the absence of proper education, investment and platforms, their creation is confined to a certain boundary. A large part of it is women entrepreneurs who are trying to become self-reliant beyond their family and other responsibilities. The journey to ‘Shafollo’ begins with a proper evaluation of their work and their efforts to find a self-reliant and self-sufficient life by showcasing their talents in the world market. We also do source the products as per client’s requirement.


In the early stages of ‘Shafollo’, the journey started with various hand crafts, crochet products, jute products. The products are made by skilled craftsmen under their own design and supervision, ensuring the highest quality using local raw materials. We plan to expand the product range of ‘Shafollo’ over time.
Under our supervision, the talented entrepreneurs and artisans of the country make the products with a combination of love and hard work, which is delivered to you by the initiative of ‘Shafollo’.
Our main objective is to bridge the gap between the global market and the domestic market by providing quality and small quantity of products as per the needs of those who are small entrepreneurs abroad or want to start a small business.

In the case of our products, we prefer eco-friendly indigenous jute as a raw material. Because we call jute the golden fiber of Bangladesh. It may be alternative to the environmentally polluting materials like plastic and polythene. Also straw, hogla leaves, date leaves, cotton, leather, cane, silver, steel, reusable plastic etc. are used as raw materials for our products.

I am a traveloholic in heart. Since 2010, I have been involved in the tourism and hospitality business which is known and registered as Stourism. Our export brand name is Shafollo which is sister concern of Stourism. Being involved in the travel business and having a keen interest in learning about different countries and cultures has led to the opportunity to travel to different countries in Asia and Europe. Knowing about the different cultures of different countries, the journey of ‘Shafollo’ started with the aim of promoting the culture of Bangladesh and the domestic indigenous products abroad.
