I aim to dispatch every order within 48 hours of the order being placed. If you require an item quickly or an estimate of Express International Shipping, please contact me before ordering.

Clients are responsible for entering the correct shipping information; changes to shipping address after order is placed cannot be guaranteed.

I always post to the address you supply to me on Etsy, so if you get this wrong unfortunately I cannot be held responsible if the parcel does not reach you. Re-shipping orders returned to us due to buyer error (incorrect address at checkout) will incur new postage charges which are the sole responsibility of the buyer.

Any International items returned because of un-paid customs, or because they have not been collected (including items that were attempted delivery and never rescheduled by the client) will be subject to order cancellation on safe return of the item.

In these circumstances, all shipping costs and duty involved will be charged and taken from the total refund to cover the costs, time, and inconvenience caused.


REFUND POLICY:

We offer a 30-day return policy, please refer to our return and refund policy section.

Please contact us if you wish to return an item, please do not ship an item back without speaking to me first.

Shipping fees are non-refundable; buyer pays return shipping plus the original postage costs.

Customized items such as resized rings, alterations to chains, necklaces or any other item of jewellery are not eligible for return.

Items which have been purchased through our Layaway scheme are also non-returnable.

RETURN & REFUND POLICY - PLEASE READ

UK and EU:

Customers in the UK have by law 30 days to return an item. I retain the right to recover my original postage costs on the safe return of the item (this applies to free shipping orders as well). The item must be in original condition, as sold, with no alterations, damage or additional wear to be eligible for a refund.

All items must be received back with their original packaging in full, and I reserve the right to deduct the cost of our packaging materials if you do not return them. If you have worn the item and caused additional wear to it while it is with you, we reserve the right to refund a lesser amount where loss of value has occurred.

Outside of the EU - USA, Japan, Australia etc:
Please inform us of your intent to return within14 days of the item arriving, and post back within 30 days. The item must be in original condition, as sold, with no alterations, damage or additional wear to be eligible for a refund. All items must be received back with their original packaging in full. I reserve the right to deduct the cost of our packaging materials if you do not return them.

International orders returned must clearly state ‘RETURN’ on the outer packaging to avoid us incurring customs charges. If the customer does not mark ‘Return’ on the parcel and we incur Customs charges due to this then the amount will be deducted from their refund price.

Please note that return postage is payable by the buyer.

Please ensure all original packaging is used to send the item back. We require that you use a tracked shipping and insured method, and send us a copy of the tracking number via Etsy messages.

NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS:

For hygiene reasons I cannot accept returns on earrings once they have been worn. For earrings shipped with a hygiene seal: if this seal is broken, even if the earrings haven’t been worn, they will be ineligible for return.

Layaway items, re-sized rings, and any other altered or converted items, are not eligible to return for a refund and are considered to be a final sale. If the hygiene seal is broken on earrings, they are then non-returnable.

EXTRA INFORMATION

* The photographs have been taken with a magnified macro lens to present you with a more detailed image. Flaws which you can see on the item in the photos, will not appear as visible when viewed normally with the eye. This can also mean that the item often appears larger on the screen , so please refer to our written description to clarify all sizes and dimensions.

* All rings come with a complimentary ring box (differs from the one pictured unless specified). All of the boxes shown in our photos are for display only, and are not included in the sale. Your jewellery will always be sent well secured, well-wrapped and protected from damage.

LAYAWAY / PAYMENT PLANS

I offer a layaway service on items over £250. A 20% deposit is taken to secure the item in your name, with the remaining balance to be paid within 8 weeks. Please consult our ‘Policies’ section for further details. If you require this service please message us and we will assist in setting this up for you.

**Coronavirus**

Please be assured during this period that all items of jewellery are sterilised and place in a high temperature ultra sonic cleaner before being shipped.

My unit is self contained and only I have access to the secure facility where my items are stored.

This has been deep cleaned and I’m confident everything is as clean as it can be.

22ct gold rings are something special and are my particular favourite. I try to source as many as I can and usually have about 80 in stock at any one time.

I check Etsy continuously to make sure mine are the cheapest but I’m always open to negotiation on them

It’s getting harder to find antique ones as many have been melted over the years due to their high gold content and intrinsic value. All have the beautiful buttery colour only almost pure gold has and they are a fabulous wearable investment.

All are cleaned and polishing is left to a minimum do as not to destroy any patina that these rings have

If your thinking of getting married why not invest in one of these special antique rings. The price for new 9ct one is probably the same as an antique 22ct one.


UPDATE

Signet rings are still the vogue and are selling really well. Unless the original design or initials on the ring are of a good quality I remove all markings from the face of the ring leaving them blank and highly polished. They can be worn blank or engraved with your design or initials although unfortunately this is not a service I provide.

THE SHEFFIELD GOLDSMITHS’ COMPANY

9-11, High Street, later, 11, Fargate/Chapel Walk, Sheffield

The Sheffield Goldsmiths’ Company of Fargate, Sheffield, which for 150 years has been in business in the area, has closed down, owing to expiry of their lease. They have occupied the Fargate shop for the last 52 years, but their present chairman and managing director, Mr. W.H. Griffith, was unable to secure a new lease for the property.
