Announcement Happy 2023 everybody! There are some changes coming to the shop soon. Old products will be on deep discount to make way for new wares. In the pipeline we have hand loomed hat bands, dip dyed macrame works, and a selection of re-usable gift and produce bags. The ever popular prayer beads will be restocked soon and we have an fresh batch of colorful prayer flags to ring in the spring.

Maker and craftswoman trying to bring light and joy to our world.

There is an old adage that says the teacher will arrive when the student is ready. In August of 2017 Hurricane Harvey ravaged Houston Texas. That fall also brought a different hurricane into my world. Our church got a new Senior Pastor and she and I had an immediate connection. Under her direction and tutelage I began a spiritual journey that upended my world. With her as my guide I enjoyed a new exploration into the different ways to practice faith. That journey continues in earnest today and I have developed a Universalist approach to faith and spirituality. I decided to drop my day job and bring what I had learned to the rest of the world and in 2020 Shelby Bird Designs was hatched. I now make prayer and meditation tools as well as offer instruction in the use and application of those tools. I hope you find your way to peace and faith and if my products help you in that journey then I am honored and humbled. Peace and blessings,
