Welcome to Shepherdess Knitting!

My mother taught me how to knit as a child, but I did not fully appreciate that skill until my sophomore year at university. Since that time, I have been honing those original skills, learning new techniques and have added my favorite element: COLORS! I love creating unique designs using multiple colors, textures and whimsy.

Cold-weather months can be hard, but I use a good scarf or hat to remind myself, and hopefully you as well, that we are all "Fearfully and Wonderfully Made" by the Great Knitter.
