5 out of 5 starsBeautiful nose ring. I love the fact that you can choose the ring size. I personally only suit very small rings and studs as I have a petite face and this is just beautiful. Looking forward to wearing it on my holiday.

5 out of 5 starsSuch a lovely little nose ring. The ability to personalise the diameter is great as most nose rings are too big for me.

5 out of 5 starsI wasn’t sure what to expect as it is hard to see the quality of a piercing through pictures but I am not disappointed! And I’ll probably buy some more :)

5 out of 5 starsArrived quickly and was beautifully packaged and protected, came with a small plastic container to store safely without losing it. I accidentally ordered a size slightly too small to what I wanted which was completely my fault, but the piece I received is absolutely beautiful and well crafted. I will definitely be buying again from this seller as soon as the need for a change arises! 5⭐️

Frequently asked questions
Which material should I choose?
Most of my products can be made in a range of different materials.
The right material for you really depends on a lot of different factors, not least where on your body you intend to wear the piece. As a general rule of thumb, 14kt gold/rose gold filled and titanium work well for most people they are nickel free and low maintenance.
316L stainless steel is also a good, versatile option as it is durable, affordable and highly resistant to corrosion. It does however contain trace amounts of nickel, whilst this will go unnoticed with many people, it isn't recommended for those with hyper allergies to nickel.
Argentium silver is highly recommended over sterling silver. Please scroll down for more information on argentium silver.
How do I care for my jewellery?
Please note: All metal jewellery can tarnish! This is not a reflection on the quality of materials used. Metal oxidisation can occur when worn for a number of reasons, such as being in contact with moisture, chemicals or cosmetics. They also react to the acidity of your skin. That explains why jewellery can tarnish faster on some people than others. However, the discolouration should only be on the surface and can usually be removed by gently wiping them with a microfibre cloth.
What size should I get?
See sizing charts in images. We are all unique. Not one size fits all, and unfortunately I cannot recommend a specific size for you. There are 2 sizing options that should be considered when purchasing jewellery for your piercings; gauge and inside diameter.
Gauge:
Gauge refers to the thickness of the hoop that threads into your piercing. The thickness required will depend on the type of piercing it is for and personal preference. I offer 4 gauges in my shop; 16G (thickest), 18G, 20G and 22G (thinnest).
Gauge size conversions:
16G - 1.2mm
18G - 1mm
20G - 0.8mm
22G - 0.6mm
You may want to stick with the gauge that you were originally pierced with, or perhaps downsizing to a thinner gauge is preferable for you.
Inside diameter:
The inside diameter you require can depend on various factors such as; body part size, piercing placement (e.g. high or low on your nose) or personal preference (snug or loose fitting). Inside diameter required will most likely vary across each of your piercings. The most reliable way of finding out the size you need is with the help of a piercing professional in person.
Please note:
Please keep this in mind that with twist open hoops, the smaller the inside diameter is, the harder it will be to open and close. This is especially true when in combination with thicker gauges, you may require a tool or an extra pair of hands.
Why don’t you sell 925 sterling silver jewellery?
Sterling silver is made of 92.5% silver and 7.5% copper. The copper content makes the silver more prone to tarnishing, this is a natural process that cannot be prevented. Whilst sterling silver can last if cleaned and polished regularly, oxidisation can occur rapidly in some cases and can be difficult to resolve. This is why Lumicea has made the decision to move away from sterling silver and work with a purer, superior silver alloy, Argentium Silver.
What is Argentium Silver?
Argentium silver 935 and 940 are revolutionary alloys made with either 93.5% or 94% pure silver and added germanium. This results in a purer, stronger, brighter and whiter silver alloy than traditional sterling silver. As it contains much less copper than sterling silver, Argentium silver is more tarnish resistant, requiring less frequent maintenance and polishing. Argentium silver is also hypoallergenic, making it a viable option for those allergic to sterling silver.
