Lumicea

Lumicea respects the privacy of all customers and ensures that submitted personal details are dealt with in a confidential manner. Your details are used to process orders as quickly and easily as possible. For all other purposes your details will only be used with your explicit consent. Lumicea will never sell your personal details to third parties. This Privacy Policy does not apply to the practices of third parties that I do not own or control, including third party services you may access through Etsy. The data Lumicea receives is provided via Etsy. In addition to this policy, you will be required to read Etsy's privacy policy.

Information collected by Lumicea

To be able to complete your order I am provided with details such as; your name, email address, postal address, payment information, and the details of the product that you’re ordering. You may also choose to provide additional personal information (for a custom order for example), if you contact us directly.

Reason of obtaining / Usage of Your Personal Information

Lumicea relies on a number of legal bases to collect, use, and share your information, including:

- as needed to provide the shop's services, such as fulfilling your order, to settle disputes, or to provide customer support;
- if necessary to comply with a legal obligation or court order or in connection with a legal claim, such as retaining information about your purchases if required by tax law;
- and as necessary for the purpose of Lumicea's legitimate interests, if those legitimate interests are not overridden by your rights or interests, such as
1) providing and improving services. Your personal information is used to provide the services you requested and in the legitimate interest to improve Lumicea's services; 2) Compliance with the Etsy Seller Policy and Terms of Use. Your personal information is used as necessary to comply with obligations under the Etsy Seller Policy and Terms of Use.

Sharing Personal Information and Disclosure

Your personal information is shared for limited reasons and in limited circumstances, as follows:

- Etsy. Personal information is shared with Etsy as necessary to provide you with the shop's services and comply with the shop's obligations under both the Etsy Seller Policy and Etsy Terms of Use.

- Service providers. Certain trusted third parties are engaged to perform functions and provide services to the shop, such as delivery companies. Your personal information is shared with these third parties, but only to the extent necessary to perform these services.

- Business transfers. If Lumicea is sold or merged with another business, your information may be disclosed as part of that transaction, only to the extent permitted by law.

Data Retention

Your personal information is retained only for as long as necessary to provide you with the shop's services and as described in this Privacy Policy. However, Lumicea may also be required to retain this information to comply with legal and regulatory obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce agreements. Generally your data is kept for the following time period: 7 years

Transfer(s) of Personal Information Outside the EU

Your personal information may be stored and processed through third-party hosting services in the US and other jurisdictions. As a result, your personal information may be transferred to a jurisdiction with different data protection and government surveillance laws than the EU jurisdiction. If information about you is transferred outside of the EU, Lumicea relies on Privacy Shield as the legal basis for the transfer.

In such cases, your personal information will be deleted unless there are compelling and legitimate grounds to continue using that information or if it is needed for legal reasons.
- Complain. If you reside in the EU and wish to raise a concern about the use of your information (and without prejudice to any other rights you may have), you have the right to do so with your local data protection authority.
