Too many words
When I was 8.....no, that is too far back. When I went to college for Game Art I thought I was gonna be the next big un-named artist in a AAA Call of Duty or whatever. That never happened. Instead, I got a gig out of school doing 3D modeling for projection mapping shows and then they shit the department down....
Life.
Freelanced for years and that got real tiring so I joined the ranks of that small start up theme park in Orlando running merchandise registers and cleaning stock rooms and ordering....comic books? Man, what a weird time. Fast forward 10 years later and I, somewhere down the line tripled down on Graphic Design and have built this brand from seemingly nothing and have been able to be a a part of theme park history creating stuff for the ever popular Tribute Stores.
Did you read all that? I am so sorry. Anyways, let's talk about why you even had an interest in that first part. You wanted to know why some of my art "clicked" with you. I am a sucker for antique stores, real addiction. So much so, that I love taking old print media and evil propaganda posters of the past and using their color palette or shape and design to match the things I am into today! I ONLY ever work on art that means something to me. Something I am willing to hang up in my own home. If you see it here, I have read the book, watched the movie, played the game, and delved deep into the lore and fandom.
So with that said, I don't take commissions all that much. Not because I don't want to, but it truly has to hit me as something I want to do (and if I even have time because I am always way too busy....)
Thanks for reading, honestly. I can't wait to nerd out with you on any of the stuff I have worked on both here or professionally and I also am always here to chat or do my best to give ya tips and tricks in the art world! <3
