Hello, I’m Karen Cinnamon, the founder and editor of Smashing The Glass, which I’m proud to say is the biggest Jewish wedding blog in the world.

Smashing The Glass is both a passion and a full-time career for me. It all started back in 2013, when I was preparing for my own Jewish wedding. It began to dawn on me that there was no single place that brought together creative, inventive and original ideas for style-focused Jewish (and Jew–ish) soon-to-be brides and grooms.

Of course, we all love certain traditions – they’re wonderful and can really enrich the experience – but contemporary couples don’t necessarily want their weddings entirely dictated by them. The most important element is to make their day completely personal, and carve their individuality into every detail. It has to mean something.

Hence my desire to create a Smash Glass Pouch for awesome Jewish and Jew-ish couples.
