SnugBug Knits began with a ball of yarn, an overflowing imagination, and a little Chihuahua named Bunny curled up beside me. What started as a creative escape has grown into a cozy little studio where every design begins with an idea, a sketch, and the excitement of wondering, “What if I knit this?”
I’m Tracy—the designer, knitter, photographer, pattern writer, customer service department, shipping department, and occasional coffee-powered chaos behind SnugBug Knits. Every pattern and handmade piece is created one stitch at a time with the hope that it brings comfort, joy, and just a little extra coziness into someone’s life.
Whether you’re here to knit your own masterpiece or order something handmade especially for you, I’m so glad you stopped by. I love creating custom pieces, working with color, and designing projects that become favorites for years to come.
You’ll also find designs inspired by the people I love, the books I read, the changing seasons, and the quiet moments that remind me home is often found in the simplest things. One of my favorite examples is Jean’s Everlasting Garden Blanket, inspired by someone very special to me and made to become part of another family’s story.
And if you happen to spot a tiny long-haired Chihuahua supervising from a blanket or peeking into a photo… that’s Bunny, my faithful studio assistant, professional yarn inspector, and enthusiastic supporter of afternoon naps.
