I’m Hannah, the maker and heart behind this little Etsy shop.
Ever since I was young, I’ve loved creating things by hand — stitching, designing, turning simple materials into something meaningful. With the encouragement of my family and friends, I decided to take a leap and open my own Etsy shop, hoping to share that love of handmade craftsmanship with more families.
At SouthstoneHandmade, I’m dedicated to creating thoughtful, high-quality pieces for children and the people who love them. Every backpack, basket, and personalised item is made with care — not just to be practical, but to become part of your everyday memories. School mornings, nursery days, holidays, little adventures — these are the moments that matter most.
Along this journey, I’ve been incredibly grateful to experience so many heartwarming moments. My small team and wonderful assistants have shown me the true beauty of women supporting women. Together, we work from our cozy little studio, doing our very best to create products that are warm in spirit, reliable in quality, and worthy of your trust.
Of course, as a growing handmade business, we sometimes face small challenges — but we are always learning, improving, and committed to doing better each day. Your feedback, ideas, and encouragement mean everything to us. They inspire us to keep developing new, thoughtful designs that bring comfort, joy, and a personal touch to your family’s life.
