Hey y’all! I am a Northern girl living in a Southern world! I know the cold and what it takes to beat it...and who doesn’t love a good snuggle in the meantime?
My three boys are older now and extremely tall! I wanted to give my bubba (baby) something to cuddle when mom’s not around. A teddy bear is just not acceptable anymore, in his big brothers’ eyes so, I saw this “teddybear yarn” and fell in love!
And did I mention they were tall? Standing at 6’3”-6’8” no regular blanket would do, so with determination and a little bit of skill, I made my first GIGANTIC teddy bear blanket! This was the beginning of Southernsoftdesigns and it all started with a boy who loves his snuggles!

The shipping rates are high, can I get a discount?
Usually, yes! Unfortunately, the parameters of calculated shipping on Etsy doesn’t accommodate squishing yarn into smaller boxes! After about 8-10 shipping will be more expensive usually! Just message me before you order and I will adjust the shipping cost to the best of my ability.
