Sizing details
They weigh 4oz each. They measure around 2.5in/6cm. This can vary a little cause I hand cut these so some aren’t perfectly square or even. They are around 11.5cm thick but this can also vary slightly.
What is the clear beads of liquid on the soap?
That is called glycerin dew! Melt and pour soaps contain extra glycerin, which draws the moisture out of the air and adds into your skin. Glycerin is a humectant! Soap setting out will do the same, drawing in moisture and the excess left on the soap as glycerin dew. This is more common in more humid environments. This is completely natural and won’t hurt the soap anyway. I cling wrap the soap as fast as I can to reduce humidity.
Why are there specks/uneven cuts on the soap?
These are homemade soaps, so they are not perfect! Some soaps will contain specks, rough cuts, and not being perfectly square. We do not smoke in this house, but there is a cat running around. There may be fur in the package but I'll do my best to prevent that!
