I originally trained in graphic design and spent years creating artwork digitally, but I always wanted to take designs beyond a screen and turn them into real objects people could gift, keep and remember special moments by. In 2014 I began applying my artwork to personalised giftware and quickly discovered I enjoyed the making process just as much as the designing.

What started as a small setup at home has gradually grown into a dedicated workshop. Over the years we have carefully added equipment and processes so we can personally produce every item ourselves rather than outsource manufacturing. Today we work as a husband and wife team, designing, creating and packing each order from our Derbyshire studio.

We use a range of techniques depending on the material to achieve a lasting, high-quality finish:

• Laser engraving into natural wood for keepsake wine boxes, chopping boards and personalised gifts
• UV printing onto wooden signs, acrylic panels and box lids
• Sublimation printing onto mugs, metal signs and other custom giftware

We particularly enjoy working with natural materials. No two pieces of wood are identical, meaning every order has its own character and individuality. Our aim is to create items that feel thoughtful and meaningful — not simply a product with a name added, but something designed to suit the occasion and the person receiving it.

Many of our pieces are chosen for birthdays, anniversaries, new homes and family occasions, and it means a great deal to know they often become keepsakes kept long after the day itself.

Every order is designed, made and carefully packed by our family before it leaves the workshop. Thank you for supporting small independent makers — it genuinely allows us to continue creating and improving what we do.

As our workshop has grown, wedding gifts became a significant part of our work. To make shopping clearer for customers, we created a separate dedicated wedding brand.

We now also run our sister shop, Wild Oak Studio Design, which focuses exclusively on personalised wedding and engagement gifts, including bridal party keepsakes and wedding day accessories.

Both StudioRBShop and WildOakStudioDesign are owned and run by the same family team, and all items are designed and produced in our Derbyshire workshop using the same materials, equipment and processes. The shops are separated purely so customers can easily find the type of gift they are looking for.
