From lockdown hobby to thousands of personalised orders 🐝
Hi, I’m Wendy, the person behind Sublime Bee!
Sublime Bee started during lockdown when I bought a cutting machine and began experimenting with vinyl. What started as a hobby quickly became something I absolutely loved, and five years later I’m still happiest when I’m surrounded by rolls of vinyl, creating something completely personal for a customer.
Since then, I’ve made and sold thousands of personalised decals, from tiny names for water bottles and lunch boxes to lettering for wedding welcome signs, seating plans, order of the day boards, parties and special occasions.
Everything is made by me, from preparing your design and cutting the vinyl to weeding, applying the transfer tape and packing your order ready for posting. There isn’t a production line or a big team behind Sublime Bee – just me (and usually quite a lot of vinyl!).
One of my favourite parts of running Sublime Bee is helping customers turn an idea into something that will actually work. Choosing the right size or font for a decal isn’t always as straightforward as it looks, particularly when you're ordering for a sign or something you've never made before. I'm always happy to offer advice, check measurements and, where helpful, put together a draft so you can see how your wording will look before ordering.
I offer a large choice of colours, finishes and fonts because I don't think personalised should mean choosing between three standard options. Whether you need one simple name decal or lettering for an entire wedding seating plan, I want you to be able to create something that suits your project.
Every order is checked by me before it leaves, and I take a lot of pride in knowing that something I've made might end up on a child's first water bottle, a bride's wedding sign, a special birthday gift or simply make someone's kitchen cupboards a little more organised!
