It all started over 30 years ago...!!
Over three decades ago, my Mother-in-Law embarked on a creative venture, crafting and selling personalized wooden name plates for horses. It was during a casual moment of washing up that she stumbled upon the perfect name: Tags for Nags.
Around 15 years later, her son Ben, who is now my fiancé, established his own enterprise called KSmart sign. Starting out in his garage, he dedicated himself to building the business, which thrived and eventually outgrew its humble beginnings. Ben's unwavering commitment and astute management led to the remarkable success of KSmart sign, currently headquartered in Leigh, Lancashire.
As the demand for KSmart sign soared, Ben found himself overwhelmed with orders. To alleviate the pressure, he invited me to join the team five years ago, initially for a few hours a week. However, time flew by, and now, with each passing day, KSmart sign flourished, while Tags for Nags experienced a gradual decline with only sporadic orders trickling in.
Now, as I return to work after the arrival of our wonderful son, Charlie, I have taken on the responsibility of nurturing and revitalizing Tags for Nags. It has become my primary focus, a side of the business that I aim to rejuvenate and elevate once again.
At present, I am actively expanding our offerings by introducing an array of fresh designs featuring diverse horse logos and background colours. What's more, we are excited to provide our customers with the unique opportunity to personalize their Stable Plaque even further by incorporating a photo of their beloved horse. This personalized touch allows our customers to create a truly special and meaningful tribute to their equine companions.
