I love unearthing vintage treasures behind my home in the woods. I dig with my cat Timmy who hangs close by....
I often use my own home to stage items for sale like this vintage kitchen throw rug that reads, "Welcome to my Pad"
I was a fashion blogger for 3 years often finding the perfect spot around my town to model a vintage dress....
I adore when customers send me an appreciation picture like this vintage cake topper that she used at her wedding...

I always check thrift stores for what I want or need, first!

I can still remember my first trip to the thrift store for clothing when I was very young, I didn't realize that it was a charity shop, it didn't matter. All I knew was that I was the best dressed kid in first grade....I was hooked. Having access to some of the best treasure troves in New Jersey allows me to easily find items to share in my Etsy shop. When I first opened my shop in 2011, I was uncertain about how to grow my business and therefore closed up shop soon after. Having re-opened Tea Stained Lace in March of 2013, I have grown to love working from home, have gained more confidence with each sale and have met a lot of really sweet people. Welcome, I would love for each person to be comfortable with my prices, don't be hesitant to make an offer. Admirably, Dawn
