Is this a physical product?
No. Everything here is a digital download. Nothing ships. When you make a purchase, you get a file to download instantly.
What exactly do I get?
Stitches Get Scritches is one spreadsheet with three tabs inside: the Calculator (where you price), a Read Me (plain-language instructions), and a Yarn Library (to work out your cost per gram). One file with everything in it.
Do I need Excel, or does it work in Google Sheets?
Both. It's the same file. Open it in Excel or upload it to Google Drive and open/copy it in Google Sheets. Sheets is free so you don't need a paid Microsoft subscription.
Do I need to be good with spreadsheets?
Nope. You only type in the highlighted yellow cells on the sheet. Everything else is locked and calculates for you. You can't accidentally break a formula.
Is there a subscription or monthly fee?
Never. It's a one-time purchase. Buy once, use forever. No account to connect and no recurring charges! BOOM.
How does the fee math work? What makes it different from other pricing tools?
Most calculators forget platform fees so their "profit" isn't what you actually keep. This one grosses up for fees correctly. The amount you want to take home is the amount you keep after Etsy's cut. It accounts for the transaction fee, payment processing (% + a fixed amount), and the listing fee. It gives you three prices at once: Etsy, craft-fair/direct, wholesale.
How do I get my download?
Right after checkout your file appears on the Etsy order confirmation page and then they email you a download link. You can also grab it anytime from the Purchases and Reviews section in your account.
Do you offer refunds?
Because these are instant digital downloads, all sales are final and I can't accept returns. But if anything isn't working or you have a question please send me a message via Etsy.
