How I Started
I've always been hands-on. From an early age, I was always into Lego, arts and crafts, etc. and as I got older, my passions turned to cars, RC and things like 3D printers. Fast forward to my 30's and I developed eczema, so my wife started making a balm to help me. That inspired her to start her own business - Land & Ritual.
What drove me crazy, though, was seeing her labels go on crooked. I took it upon myself to create a tool to help. She pressured me to start an Etsy and list it for sale, which I did and promptly forgot about it for a few months. Then, while holding our first born daughter, my phone buzzed and I saw it was a notification for my first sale. More followed. My wife started attending markets to sell her skincare products and came back with ideas and requests for signs, displays and other accessories to help elevate her products and showcase her brand.
That brings us to today! Forged Earth was built not only to support my family, but as a way to help support other small businesses. I know from experience that it's difficult to get something unique made for a reasonable price, so it's my goal to be that person for you. Whether it's something I already offer or something totally random, I'm here to help.
