Manchmal fragen mich die Leute: Warum Papier? Wer würde Papierblumen dem Original vorziehen?
Ok, es gibt einige wichtige Gründe. Das erste Papier ist ein uraltes und sehr interessantes Material – echte Blumendekorationen, die man immer in einem Geschäft bekommen kann – die Natur hat sie gemacht. Aber wenn jemand jede einzelne Blume speziell für Ihre Dekoration macht, ist das anspruchsvoller, das ist persönlich, das ist Kunst. Der zweite Grund ist ein alltäglicherer Grund. Stellen Sie sich vor, Sie haben eine Allergie. Bedeutet das, dass Sie nie Blumenschmuck zu Hause, in Ihrer Hochzeit, bei jeder Feier haben werden? Blumen sind Symbol des Lebens; ein wachsendes und buntes Leben und sie sind immer ein gutes Geschenk und eine Dekoration für eine Frau. Manche Menschen haben keine Allergien, aber sie mögen immer noch nicht den Duft einiger Blumen. Bei meiner Hochzeit wurde ich krank wegen des Geruchs der Lilien. Aber ich liebe Lilien und sie waren überall – als Tischdekoration, als Teil meines Hochzeitsstraußes, eine in meinen Haaren und andere in den Geschenken. Ihr süßer Geruch wurde mir zu viel, besonders in Kombination mit den Parfums meiner Freundinnen und dem Geruch des Essens in dem Maße, dass der letzte Teil meiner Hochzeit verdorben war. Ist dies ein guter Grund, Papierblumen zu wählen, die keinen Geruch haben und eine ganze Reihe von Arten sein können, selbst die teuersten und außerhalb der Saison? Der dritte Grund ist ein bisschen sentimental, nein auch sehr stark. Schnittblumen sind tot oder sterben zumindest. Möchten Sie, dass Ihr Hochzeitsstrauß mitten in der Party traurig wird? Möchten Sie Ihren Hochzeitsstrauß oder Ihren Blumenkranz lange aufbewahren? Und wenn Sie sogar Ihre Goldene Hochzeit nach 50 Jahren oder Ihren Diamanten mit 75 Jahren feiern, um den Moment zu genießen, als wäre es gestern gewesen?

Sometimes people are asking me: Why paper? Who would prefer paper flowers to the real thing?
Ok, so there are some big reasons. First paper is an ancient and very interesting material – real flower decorations you always can get from a shop – nature made them. But if someone makes every single flower especially for your decoration, this is more sophisticated, this is personal, this is Art. The second reason is a more everyday reason. Imagine you have an allergy. Does that mean you will never have floral decorations at home, in your wedding, in every celebration? Flowers are symbol of Life; a growing and colourful Life and they are always a good present and a decoration for a woman. Some people have no allergies, but they still do not like the perfume of some flowers. In my wedding I became sick because of the smell of the lilies. But I love lilies and they were everywhere – as a table decoration, as part of my wedding bouquet, one in my hair and others in the presents. Their sweet smell became too much for me, especially in combination with the perfumes of my girlfriends and the smell of the food to the extent that the last part of my wedding was spoiled. Is this a good reason to choose paper flowers, which have no smell and can be a whole range of species, even the most expensive and those out season? The third reason is a bit sentimental, no also very strong. Cut flowers are dead or at least dying. Do you want your wedding bouquet become sad in the middle of the party? Do you want to keep your wedding bouquet or your flower wreath for a long time? And when you celebrate even your Golden wedding, after 50 years, or your Diamond at 75 years, to enjoy the moment like it was yesterday?
