Who is The Proud Paper?
The Proud Paper is a queer-owned watercolor art studio based in Chicago, run by artist Marco Cabrera. Every piece starts as a hand-painted watercolor on real paper, later turned into wall art, canvas prints, and note cards.
What do you sell?
I sell minimalist and abstract watercolor art, botanical and floral prints, LGBTQ pride art, canvas prints, note cards, and original signed paintings.
Are these physical prints or digital downloads?
Both! Most items are printed and shipped to you (as unframed prints, canvas prints, or note card sets). Some listings are printables — digital files you download and print yourself.
How is my order printed and shipped?
Physical orders are handled by trusted print production partners based in Texas and North Carolina who print, frame, and ship on my shop's behalf once an order comes in.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. Shipping times vary. Note: for US deliveries, import duties/fees are included at checkout per Etsy policy; non-US buyers may owe additional customs fees on delivery, and the shop isn't responsible for customs-related delays.
What's your return/refund policy?
Digital products (printables) are final sale and non-refundable. For physical items, check the individual listing for return and exchange eligibility. If there's ever an issue with your order, simply send me a message and I will gladly assist you.
Can I cancel my order?
Cancellations aren't accepted once an order is placed, so please double-check before purchasing. You may, however, return an item in accordance with the return-refund policy.
