Tread Lightly on the Earth

The Z List is the meeting point of two parts of my life: being an artist and being a Quaker. As a Quaker I believe in being a good steward of the Earth: recycling, reusing, low consumption, living simply. As an artist, I'm drawn to exciting visual objects: artwork, furniture, wallpaper, clothing, etc. To me, thrift is the perfect way to satisfy one's desire of exciting, stimulating objects with a commitment to environmentalism.

All of my items are from local thrift shops in the Midwest, mainly Aurora, IL, Chicago, and Grand Rapids, MI. I ride my bike or ride with a friend and spend hours looking through the shops to find the patterns and styles that make me smile or gasp with excitement. I hope these clothes can thrill you as much as they do me.
