I'm a solo artist. Everything is created, designed, and finished by me!
I've dreamed of being an artist since I was a child. After a lot of consideration, I figured that I would chase that dream. Life is too short to make a living doing something that doesn't make you happy! Art is a fantastic medium of expressing what you see in the world around you and as a means of sharing what inspires you. I love to share my art, and am absolutely thrilled to be sharing it with everyone through Etsy!
ABOUT THE ART
My art is done in a variety of styles. Some of it is purely Western traditional art. However, I often add twists. I enjoy infusing the techniques and ideas from art history, particularly from Eastern (Chinese and Japanese) traditional styles. I'm also a fan of comic-oriented styling, wherein objects are outlined and emphasized through shadows. Animation influences the shading in some works, which use cel shading. I work primarily in watercolor and ink, with the occasional addition of acrylic paints.
